Hello Racing Ears,
Here is the final race of the weekend on Sunday June 5th. This features group 13 which basically was the IMSA GTO cars from the 1980s and early 1990s. My favorite was the Irv Hoerr Olivetti #6 Oldsmobile Cutlass, owned and driven by Gordon Johnson. That car sounded the best to me.

Thanks for your report. I’ve never heard my car from this vantage point. Sounds a whole lot better from outside the car. Nothing quite like the sound and power of a V-8. Irv Hoerr drove this car to 3 wins in 1991 Trans Am series, and 6 wins and the championship in 1992 IMSA GTO series. Fun car to drive … Looks pretty good on the track, too? Lol

Thanks Mr Johnson. I really enjoyed seeing and listening to your car. Sonoma Raceway is great because cars like yours really echo throughout the hills and valleys of the circuit. I was a bit bummed that only 5 cars raced on sunday. I am not the best photographer but I tried to get a few pics of your car. Are you going to the 2016 Monterey Historics? Can I ask if you will allow me to record your car from the inside? Thanks again. I appreciate your feedback.
