Hello again Racing Ears,

Here is the Saturday morning session from turn 11 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the 2017 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.  The IMSA GTP cars will be flying through here during this session.

My favorite was seeing and hearing the Dyson Racing RC Cola 1986 Porsche 962 again.  This car sounded so close to how I remember the first time I heard a 962 back in my youth.  I was saddened because this was the last session that this car would run during this event.

It was also great to see and hear the Group 44 1985 Jaguar XJR-5 again.  It’s V12 engine sounded amazing.

Bruce Canepa was driving the 1989 Canon / Idemitsu Porsche 962C that had been fully restored for this event.  This car made many turbo pops coming through turn 11 and was very quick out of this corner down the front straight.
